Every month Black Rock EPS hosts an internship opportunity for Juniors and Seniors from the Harkness Career & Tech Center. Teachers from Digital Media and Video Production & Recording Arts work together to provide a real world experience through production of a music performance television show. Students learn about camera operation, video direction, audio recording and post, and video post production as well as many other skills. Jason Hall, owner of Black Rock EPS studio, has a goal of making the show entirely student produced.
"Live from Blackrock" is sponsored by Sportsmen's Americana Music Foundation, who provide the space and equipment the students use to produce the show. A pilot episode has already been aired locally on WBBZ, and they have plans to broadcast more shows this year.
