I would just like to take this opportunity to thank you all for selecting my daughter as the recipient of the Marie Szabla Scholarship. When we read the letter together, I couldn’t help but feel a little melancholy as I thought of Marie. Adrianna had met her several years ago and never forgot her vibrant personality. I know that Adrianna will make very good use of this award as she sets forth to follow her artistic passion. Marie would be proud of her, knowing that she has the drive to excel because this is something Marie always instilled in her students as well.
I am proud of my daughter. She has overcome so much and done it with dignity and perseverance. I cannot sufficiently express my gratitude to you, for making the scholarship available and for choosing Adrianna. This award will help her follow her dream. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
